Nepal is designated to Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

In June 2015, the Department of Homeland Security designated Nepal for Temporary Protected Status. Citizens of Nepal, and people with no citizenship but whose habitual residence is Nepal, may apply for TPS if they were in the United States on June 24, 2015, and are still here. They must apply before December 21, 2015. Nepalese with TPS are allowed to live and work in the United States until December 24, 2016, and possibly longer if the designated period is extended.

If you need assistance applying for TPS, we welcome you to contact us for a consultation.
